EdgeON 3 Sharpening Station for precise manual sharpening of knives and scissors
The sharpening range is from 7 to 25 degrees per side. This is the smallest model of a sharpening station for precise manual sharpening of knives or scissors, suitable for both home use and professional field work. The price is very affordable, which is a major advantage of the EdgeON-3 model.
The protractor is identical to the EdgeON-5 sharpener model. The sharpening station is smaller and lighter, easy to assemble and disassemble for transport, and mounts using only a screwdriver with a hexagonal end. No maintenance required.
For convenient work with the blade or abrasive, a miniature stand is included in the delivery. This version does not have adjustable feet; instead, rubber pads are attached. The color scale is identical to all other sharpening stations.
The protractor scale has 0.5-degree increments. Thanks to the larger spacing between the marks (2.44 mm for 1 degree, 1.22 mm for 0.5 degrees), it is relatively easy to determine intermediate angles. The scale is easily readable, and the sharpener has it directly in front of their eyes.
Although the protractor is adjusted on a separate panel, it can be recalibrated if necessary. For factory calibration, it is necessary to determine the exact angle, for example, using a digital protractor. To adjust the angle on the station, slightly loosen the two M2 DIN912 screws on the black indicator cover, set the desired angle, and retighten the screws. Most users, however, do not need to perform this adjustment at all.
