my wife called from the kitchen just as I stretched out on the couch with the remote in my hand, ready to enjoy a moment of rest. At that exact second, an inner monologue started running in my head:
“What can I do once and for all so that my beloved wife can enjoy perfectly sharp knives… and I can finally have some peace?”

That was the beginning. The spark of an idea about how to bring comfort to the kitchen, how to turn cutting into a pleasant experience, and how to let people work with truly well-sharpened tools.

If we skip the years of development, ideas, testing, and countless trials, we land five years ahead. From this original need and a simple household moment, a small family business was born, focused on the development and production of precise professional sharpening stations for knives, scissors, chisels, and other tools, as well as accessories.
From day one, our goal was simple:
to create tools that produce only one possible description — PERFECT.

The next logical step was to focus on measuring sharpening angles. That’s how our first goniometers were created — devices that finally allow you to know exactly what angle you are working with. Today, our Goniometer PRO laser edge-angle meter is one of the most advanced and accurate devices available.

And because a good sharpening workflow consists of several precise steps, the next natural milestone was to create a device for measuring the final sharpness of the blade. We did that too — completing the full ecosystem we had been building for years.

It may sound like a smooth journey. Reality? Quite the opposite.
Success is built on overcoming obstacles, wrong turns, and lessons learned the hard way. In a small family workshop, it often meant that the whole family joined in — my wife with a soldering iron, my daughter helping (sometimes unwillingly) with video recordings, and all of us traveling to exhibitions to show our first prototypes and gather priceless feedback.

Once our products became reliable and technically mature, a new stage began:
focusing on top-level quality and creating the best manual sharpening tools possible.
